Number lifted this sale and quality was also improved. There were some good lines of finished cattle available along with fewer secondary cattle penned. The usual buyers were present and competing along with competition from restockers in a dearer market. Vealer steers and heifers sold from 265c to 310c/kg. Yearling steers to feed lifted 6c to 7c/kg. Middle weights sold from 273c to 314c and heavy weights sol from 275c to 310c/kg. Those to processors received from 275c to 284c/kg. Restockers paid from 300c to 325c/kg. The heifer portion to processors improved 10c on an improved quality offering. Middle weights sold from 250c to 290c and heavies received from 238c to 270c/kg. Those to feed sold from 245c to 289c/kg. Heavy steers and bullocks held firm to make from 265c to 284/kg. Grown heifers sold from 243c to 261c/kg. A better offering of cows were firm to 6c/kg better. Heavy 2 score sold from 182c to 211c and 3 score from 200c to 226c/kg.
