Total Yarding – 489hd

Numbers slipped again this sale with continued flooding in the drawing area. Quality was mixed with both well bred finished cattle offered along with the plainer secondary types. Most of the usual buyers were present and competing in a market that was similar to the previous sale. 

Yearling steers to feed sold from 500c to 630c/kg. The finished lines to processors received from 448c to 520c/kg. Heifers to feed sold from 460c to 548c with processors paying from 460c to 530c/kg for the finished lines.

Heavy steers and bullocks were very limited in number but reached 470c/kg. Cows were also in short supply but sold from 360c to 400c/kg.
