Numbers lifted this sale, although quality slipped compared to the previous sale. There were a greater percentage of plainer secondary lines yarded, with fewer well finished lines offered. Yearlings made up the majority of the yarding along with a handy penning of cows. The usual buyers were present and competed in a cheaper market.

Yearling steers to processors slipped 10c, with middle and heavyweights selling from 280c to 326c/kg. Those to feed were also cheaper. Middleweights sold from 280c to 345c and heavies 300c to 344c/kg. The heifer portion was also 6c to 10c/kg easier. Processors paid from 270c to 328c/kg for medium and heavyweights. Those to feed sold from 280c to 299c/kg.

Heavy steers and bullocks were back 10c, selling from 260c to 322c/kg. Grown heifers sold from 245c to 276c/kg. Cows were 5c to 6c/kg easier. Heavy 2 score selling from 215c to 232c and the 3 scores made from 222c to 232c/kg. The best heavy bull reached 242c/kg.
