Total Yarding – 1318hd 

Numbers declined this sale and quality continues to be mixed. There were a few pens of well finished cattle offered along with the plainer
types. Cows made up the majority of the offering and most of the usual buyers were present and competing in cheaper market.
Yearling steers to processors were limited and sold from 251c to 293/kg. Those to feed were 6c to 8c cheaper with middle weights making
from 240c to 300c and heavy weights selling from 237c to 296c/kg. The heifer portion to processors lifted 5c to 6c on an improved offering to
sell from 245c to 277c/kg. Those to feed received from 240c to 286c for middle weights and from 276c to 280c/kg for the heavier end.
Heavy steers and bullocks were very limited and sold to 290c/kg. Grown heifers sold from 193c to 245c/kg. Cows showed the biggest change,
easing 15c/kg. Heavy 2 scores sold from 170c to 209c and 3 scores received from 192c to 230c/kg
