Numbers reduced this sale after rain in the drawing area. Quality was fair with some good lines of finished cattle offered along with the plainer
types. The full complement of buyers were present and competing in a significantly dearer market.
Yearling steers to processors jumped 40c/kg with heavy weights selling from 265c to 319c/kg. Those to feed were 20c/kg better and more in
places. Middle weights sold from 290c to 328c with heavy weights receiving from 300c to 322c/kg. The heifer portion was also 30c better with
processors paying from 232c to 309c/kg. The unfinished types to feedlots received from 255c to 294c/kg.
Heavy steers and bullocks sold from 298c to 319c/kg. Grown heifers received from 226c to 278c/kg. Cows showed the biggest change lifting
40c to 50c/kg. Heavy 2 score sold from 204c to 245c with 3 score receiving from 235c to 277c/kg. The best heavy bull reached 266c/kg.
