Total Yarding – 388hd

Numbers more than halved this sale though quality continues to be very mixed. There was both well finished and plainer cattle penned though
there was less heavy cattle yarded than previous weeks. The usual buyers were present though not all were operating in a fairly steady
market.
Yearling steers to processors were slightly easier to sell from 240c to 280c/kg. Those to feed were firm to 3c cheaper with prices making from
349c to 450c/kg. Light weights to restockers sold from 338c to 352c/kg. The heifer portion to processors lifted slightly to sell from 320c to
400c/kg. Those to feed sold from 310c to 388c/kg.
Grown heifers sold from 283c to 320c/kg. Cows were 5c better with heavy 2 score making from 275c to 290c and 3 scores making from 281c
to 302c/kg. The best heavy bull reached 314c/kg.
