Total Yarding – 322hd

Numbers remained similar this sale though quality showed an improvement. There were some good lines of grain assisted cattle on offer along
with few plainer types penned. The usual buyers were present and competing in a dearer market.
A few pens of vealer steers sold from 414c to 442c/kg to feed and restockers. Yearling steers to processors lifted 15c to sell from 350c to
375c/kg. Those to feed also lifted 15c to 20c/kg. Middle and heavy weights sold from 319c to 415c with light weights reaching 438c/kg. The
heifer portion followed a similar dearer trend with processors paying from 330c to 430c/kg. Those to feed ranged in price from 370c to
430c/kg.
A quality yarding of cows saw prices lift 8c with heavy 2 score selling from 269c to 298c and 3 score receiving from 291c to 312c/kg
