Total Yarding – 20,300hd      Lambs – 16,050      Sheep – 4,250

Numbers lifted slightly this sale though lamb numbers remained similar. Lamb quality was fair and followed the trend of previous sales with
good numbers of grain assisted lambs on offer. Not all the usual buyers were present and competing in a cheaper market.
Light lambs to restockers remain strong selling from $132 to $175/head. Trade weight lambs were back $8 to $13 with prices making from
$170 to $221/head. Heavy and extra heavy weight lambs were $20 easier with lambs up to 26kg, selling from $195 to $246/head. Extra
heavy weights received from $253 to $283/head. Carcase prices averaged from 869c to 928c/kg cwt.
Mutton numbers lifted and quality was fair. Prices continue to be strong with Merino ewes selling from $142 to $216/head. Crossbred ewes
received from $140 to $270 with Dorper ewes reaching $210/head. Some handy lines of Merino wethers sold from $159 to $217/head.
