Total Yarding – 1151Hd 

There was a small rise in numbers and the quality was very good with a lot of the cattle in forward condition and carrying plenty of weight.
Yearlings made up the bulk of the cattle and there were a few vealers. Grown steers and heifers were limited and around 110 cows mostly
heavy cows penned. The market sold to a dearer trend.
Restocking weaner steers sold from 461c to 484c and light heifers 400c to a top of 502c/kg. Heavy vealers lifted 10c to make from 402c to
441c/kg. Feeder steers had gains from 15c to 20c with the medium and heavy feeder steers selling from 380c to 425c/kg. Feeder heifers were
17c stronger with the medium weights making from 364c to 421c/kg. Heavy trade steers were firm and made from 364c to 415c and trade
heifers increased by 7c to 10c ranging from 370c to 417c/kg.
Grown steers over 500kg lifted 12c and received from 341c to 388c/kg. A good run of heavy 4 and 5 score cows gained 8c to 12c ranging from
280c to 320c/kg. The best of the heavy bulls reached 332c/kg.
