Total Yarding – 882 Hd 

Numbers lifted this sale though quality continues to be very mixed. There was a large percentage of plainer and secondary lines penned along with the few better finished types. There was a good yarding of cows available and the usual buyers were present and competing in a cheaper market.

Yearling steers to feed slipped 10 to 15c/kg to receive from 420c to 504c/kg. The finished types to processors were also 10c easier selling from 430c to 455c/kg. The heifer portion followed a similar trend with prices ranging from 380c to 372c/kg to feed.

Heavy steers and bullocks were limited but reached 470c/kg. Grown heifers sold from 300c to 350c/kg. Cows were 2 to 6c/kg easier with heavy 2 score selling from 295 to 335c and 3 score selling from 336 to 356c/kg.
