Yarded – 1098hd

Numbers reduced this sale though quality showed an improvement. There was a better offering of well finished grain fed lines
along with the plainer types more suited to feed. Yearlings made up the majority of the yarding along with a good penning of
cows. The usual buyers were present and competing in a dearer market.
Yearling steers to processors were 4c to 8c better to receive from 260c to 308c/kg. Middle weights to feed sold from 250c to
315c with heavy weights from 284c to 310c/kg. The heifer portion to processors improved 15c/kg and was partly quality related.
Middle and heavy weights sold from 260c to 308c/kg. Those to feed also showed an improvement to receive from 220c to
260c/kg.
