Numbers decreased this sale, while quality remained similar to the previous sales. There were some handy lines of grain assisted cattle offered, along with the plainer secondary pens. Yearlings made up the majority of the offering. The usual buyers were present and competing in a fairly steady market. Yearling steers to processors held firm, making from 260c to 292c/kg. Those to feed were also similar, receiving from 270c to 303c/kg. Restockers were active on the lighter store types, with these making from 234c to 300c/kg. Yearling heifers to processors sold from 240c to 285c, while those to feed made from 220c to 270c/kg. Heavy steers and bullocks sold from 230c to 292c/kg. Grown heifers received from 240c to 270c/kg. Cows were firm to 5c/kg dearer on the better cows. Heavy 2 scores sold from 180c to 212c, with 3 and 4 scores making from 203c to 244c/kg.
