Total Yarding – 864

Numbers fell sharply this sale and quality was also reduced from previous sales. There was a larger percentage of plainer
secondary cattle penned along with a few better finished lines. The usual buyers were present and competing in an easier
market.
Yearling steers to processors were limited and eased 5c, to sell from 260c to 294c/kg. Those to feed ranged in price from 265c
to 322c/kg. Yearling heifers were in short supply and processors paid from 240c to 280c/kg for the finished offering. Those to
feed sold from 210c to 260c/kg.
Heavy steers and bullocks were also limited and sold from 250c to 282c/kg. The better grown heifers ranged in price from 237c
to 240c/kg. Cows held firm with heavy 2 scores making from 180c to 215c, and the 3 scores selling from 206c to 230c/kg.
