Total Yarding – 759hd

Numbers fell this sale and quality was again very mixed. There was a larger percentage of feeder cattle offered along with the
few better finished pens. Cows and yearlings made up the majority of the yarding. The usual buyers were present and competing
in a fairly steady market.
Yearling steers to feed held steady with prices ranging from 230c to 275c/kg. Those to processors were limited and ranged in
price from 253c to 269c/kg. The heifer portion to feed sold from 210c to 248c with processors paying from 238c to 244c/kg.
Grown heifers sold from 215c to 243c/kg with too few heavy steers to quote. A better run of cows held fairly firm with heavy 2
scores making from 155c to 190c and 3 score selling from 188c to 212c/kg.
