Total Yarding – 832hd 

Numbers decreased this sale and quality continues to be very mixed. There were few lines of good quality supplementary fed
cattle offered, along with the plainer lighter types. The usual buyers were present and competing in a cheaper market.
Yearling steers eased 10c to 15c/kg. Those to processors made from 235c to 272c/kg for middle and heavy weights. The plainer
types to feed received from 210c to 265c for medium weights and from 230c to 267c/head for heavy weights. The heifer portion
was 2c to 3c/kg easier. Processors paid from 200c to 260c, while those to feed received from 210c to 242c/kg.
Heavy steers and bullocks reached 240c/kg. Grown heifers sold to 230c/kg. Cows were 7c to 15c/kg cheaper particularly on the
better cows. Heavy 2 scores sold from 130c to 175c and 3 scores received from 175c to 185c/kg.
