Numbers fell this sale and quality continues to be very mixed. There was both supplementary fed and plainer cattle penned with
yearlings making up the majority of the offering. The usual buyers were present and competing in a dearer market.
Yearling steers to processors lifted 20c to sell from 265c to 285c/kg. Those to feed were also 20c to 30c better with prices
ranging from 265c to 307c/kg. The heifer portion to processors lifted 10c to 20c with middle and heavy weights receiving from
210c to 272c/kg. Those to feed sold from 203c to 270c/kg.
Grown heifers sold from 199c to 230c/kg. Cows showed the biggest change jumping 50c/kg. Heavy score sold from 155c to 209c
and 3 score ranged in price from 192c to 213c/kg.
