Numbers doubled this sale, with cows and yearlings showing the biggest change. Quality continued to be very mixed, with both well finished
and plainer types penned. The usual buyers were present and competing in a cheaper market.
Vealer steers and heifers sold from 204c to 255c/kg. Yearling steers to feed eased 10c/kg. Middle weights sold from 248c to 300c, while heavy
weights made from 255c to 315c/kg. The better finished types to processors improved by 10c, to sell from 240c to 312c/kg. The heifer portion
to feed eased by 5c, to make from 240c to 267c/kg. The finished types to processors also eased, selling from 240c to 285c/kg.
Heavy steers and bullocks sold from 265c to 290c/kg. Grown heifers received from 215c to 240c/kg. A reduced quality offering of cows eased
from 10c to 15c/kg. Heavy 2 scores sold from 172c to 210c, while 3 scores made from 206c to 223c/kg.
