Total Yarding – 1480hd

Numbers eased slightly this sale and quality continued to be mixed. There were some good lines of well finished and grain assisted cattle
offered, along with the plainer types more suited to feed. The usual buyers were present and competing in a dearer market.
Yearling steers to processors held firm to 5c dearer, to sell from 270c to 316c/kg. The unfinished lines to feedlots improved from 5c to 10c/kg.
Middle weights ranged in price from 250c to 317c, while heavy weights sold from 260c to 316/kg. Middle weight yearling heifers to processors
held firm, to sell from 253c to 305c/kg. Heavy weights improved by 12c, to receive from 230c to 293c, with B scores selling to 211c/kg.
Heavy steers and bullocks were limited and made to 294c, while grown heifers sold to 225c/kg. Heavy 2 score cows held firm to 3c dearer, to
sell from 168c to 198c/kg. The better 3 score cows improved by 1c, to receive from 196c to 227/kg
