Total Yarding – 1550hd

Numbers fell though quality showed a small improvement from the previous sale. There was a handy offering of well finished cattle available
along with fewer secondary lines penned. The usual buyers were present and competing in a fairly steady market that fluctuated with quality
offered.
Yearling steers to processors were limited and sold from 255c to 300c/kg.Those to feed received from 255c to 302c for medium weights and
290c to 310c/kg for the heavier portion. Yearling heifers to processors were firm receiving from 247c to 278c/kg. Those to feed sold from 210c
to 282c/kg.
Heavy steers and bullocks were also firm to range in price from 240c to 292c/kg. Grown heifers sold from 210c to 257c/kg. Cows slipped 6c to
7c with heavy 2 scores selling from 180c to 224c and 3 scores from 220c to 240c/kg.
