Total Yarding – 26,550hd      Lambs – 14,800      Sheep – 11,750  

Numbers eased this sale and quality continues to be similar to that of previous sales. There were some good lines of finished lambs offered
along with the store types and drier lines. The usual buyers were present and competing in a easier market.
Light store lambs sold from $70 to $152/head to restockers. Trade weight new season lambs received from $145 to $175/head. Old trade
weight lambs eased $3, selling from $154 to $170/head. Heavy and extra heavy weight lambs were $4 to $5 cheaper with heavy lambs to
26kg selling from $170 to $202/head. Extra heavy weight lambs ranged in price from $212 to $243/head. Carcase prices averaged from 730c
to 763c/kg.
Mutton numbers eased and quality was fair. Prices were variable with Merino ewes selling from $108 to $209/head. Crossbred ewes sold from
$115 to $199 with Dorper ewes ranging from $108 to $170/head. Merino wethers received from $114 to $166/head.
