Numbers lifted this sale although lambs numbers remained steady. Lamb quality continues to be mixed, with some handy lines of
well finished lambs offered, along with the plainer types. Most of the usual buyers were present and competing in a cheaper
Light lambs eased $6 to sell from $110 to $120/head. Trade weights were $5 to $7 easier, with prices varying from $118 to
$148/head. Heavy and extra heavy weight lambs were $10 easier, with heavy lambs selling from $136 to $165/head. Extra
heavy weights varied in price from $150 to $213/head. Carcase prices averaged from 610c to 630c/kg cwt.
Mutton numbers showed the increase and quality was very mixed. Prices decreased, with Merino ewes selling from $78 to
