Numbers dropped this sale with agents yarding just 762 head. Quality was fair with good numbers of well bred feeder cattle offered along with the secondary types. Most of the usual buyers were present and competing in an easier market.

Yearling steers to feed slipped 5c to 10c to sell from 472c to 580c/kg for middle and heavyweights. Better finished types to processors received from 462 to 490c/kg. The heifer portion to feed was also easier receiving from 422 to 530c/kg. Those of processors sold from 467c to 500c/kg.

Heavy steers and bullocks were limited and sold from 460 to 480c/kg. Grown heifers range from 374c to 444c/kg. Cows held fairly steady with heavy finished cows from 390 to 410c and plainer types 365c to 387c/kg. The best heavy bull reached 405c/kg.
