Numbers fell this sale with agents yarding just 844 head. Quality was very mixed with some good lines of well bred feeder cattle penned along with the secondary types. The usual buyers were present and competing in a fairly steady market.
Lightweight yearling steers back to the paddock sold from 522c to 642c/kg. Middle and heavyweights to feed received from 520 to 613c/kg. The heifer portion ranged in price from 540c to 560c/ to feed with processors paying up to 544c/kg.
Heavy steers and bullocks reached 509c with grown heifers from 380c to 487c/kg.
A better run of cows saw prices lift 10c/kg. Heavy finished cows sold from 392 to 427c/kg with plainer types from 374 to 393c/kg. The best bull reached 446c/kg.
