The first sale in a fortnight and numbers were back with the expectation of rain. The quality of the yarding was good with a lot of the younger cattle having plenty of weight and carrying a lot of condition. The were good numbers of feeder weights and only a limited supply of secondary light weights. There was an odd pen of weaners and nearly 600 cows were penned. The market sold to stronger trends.

Weaner steers reached 500c and heifers 406c/kg. Feeder steers were firm to slightly dearer, the plainer cattle having some of the larger gains and the medium and heavy weights sold from 420c to 525c/kg. Feeder heifers were 5c to 6c dearer ranging from 371c to 376c/kg. Trade cattle lifted 10c with the bulk of the heavy steers 470c to 481c and heifers 460c to 476c/kg.

There was only a limited supply of grown steers, and the best were 4 tooths reaching 459c and lighter and plainer 2 tooth to feed reached 480c/kg. The best of the heavy grown heifers were up to 20c stronger reaching 463c/kg. Cows were 15c to 20c dearer with the 4 score heavy weights selling from 335c to 368c and the leaner 2 score cows were pushed by restocking orders and sold from 250c to 312c/kg.
