Numbers fell sharply this sale with agents yarding 1584 head. Quality was similar to the previous sale its both well bred and secondary cattle penned. The usual buyers were present and competing along with restockers in a market that regained some of last weeks losses.

Yearling steers to processors held firm to 5c better to receive from 450c to 470c/kg. Those to feed eased 10c/kg with middle and heavyweights from 410 to 480c/kg. Lighter plainer steers to restockers sold from 390 to 538c/kg. The heifer portion was 10 to 15c better with processors paying from 410 to 460c/kg. Plainer types to feed received from 420 to 462c/kg.

Heavy steers and bullocks were limited and reached 468c/kg. Grown heifers topped at 448c/kg. Cows were 4 to 6c better with heavy 2 score from 300c to 378c and 3 score 371 to 391c/kg. The best heavy bull reached 336c/kg.
