Numbers lifted this sale with agents yarding 1547 head. Quality was improved from the previous sale with a better offering of well bred cattle available. The usual buyers were present and competing in a market that fluctuated around firm.

Yearling steers held fairly steady with middle and heavyweights to feed selling from 440 to 533c/kg. The finished types to processors sold from 435c to 481c/kg. Restockers were active on lighter types paying up to 550c/kg. The heifer portion to feed received from 413 to 465c/kg. The better types to processors sold from 430 to 470 /kg.

Heavy steers and bullocks ranged in price from 450 to 481c/kg. Better grown heifers sold from 430c to 469c/kg. Cows slipped 8 to 19c with heavy finished cows from 372 to 395c/kg. The plainer secondary cows sold from 358 to 382c/kg. The best heavy bull reached 420c/kg.
