Lamb numbers eased and the quality was fair to good. The lighter lambs and trade weights were mixed in quality while most of the heavy weights were well presented in good condition. There was a big run of Hoggets and Merino lambs and hoggets were limited in supply. All the usual buyers were operating in a cheaper market.

The 2 score processing lambs to 16kg sold from $70 to $118/head. Medium and heavy trade weights were $5 to $6 softer selling from $125 to $173/head with the better end of the trade lambs averaging 660c to 680c/kg and the secondary lambs were 620c to 650c/kg. The 24 to 26kg lambs were $10 softer selling from $164 to $187 and averaged 677c/kg. Heavy lambs to 30kg sold between $172 and $207/head or 680c/kg on average. The extra heavy weights topped at $238/head. The best price for Hoggets was $147/head.

Mutton numbers eased and the quality was again mixed but did contain some good heavy ewes. Prices were stronger with medium weight ewes selling from $52 to $78 and heavy crossbreds reached $114 and woolly Merino ewes $120/head. Most of the mutton ranged from 280c to 320c/kg cwt.
