Numbers jumped this sale with agents yarding 47,000 head, lambs lifted to 35150 and quality was similar to that of previous sales. There was a handy offering of finished trade and export lambs available along with the plainer types. The usual buyers were present and competing in a market that showed a cheaper trend.

Plainer lambs back to the paddock attracted strong competition to sell from $165 to $271/head. Trade weight lambs sold from $260 to $313/head. Heavy lambs to 26kg ranged in price from $390 to $326/head. Extra heavyweights received from $322 to $412/head. Carcase prices averaged 1063 to 1230c/kg. The best heavy hoggets reached $310/head.

Mutton numbers lifted to 10900 and quality was very mixed. Merinos made up the majority and prices also showed an easier trend. Merino ewes sold from $172 to $286/head. Crossbreds received from $188 to $320/head with heavy Dorper ewes selling from $217 to $303/head. Merino wethers sold from $186 to $328/head.
