Numbers more than halved this sale with agents yearling 529 head. Quality was very mixed with a large percentage of secondary cattle offered along with the better bred types. The usual buyers were present and competing in a cheaper market.
Yearling steers slipped 8 to 12c with those to feed selling from 283 to 386c/kg. the finished lines to processors sold from 280 to 320c/kg. Yearling heifers were 6 to 10c easier with feeders paying from 272 to 320c with those to processors receiving 269 to 300c/kg.
Heavy steers and bullocks sold from 280 to 300c with grown heifers reached 265c/kg. Cows fell 8 to 12c with heavy 2 score selling from 215 to 230c and 3 score 232 to 243c/kg.
