Numbers lifted this sale with agents yarding 780 head. Quality was fair with some good lines of finished cattle offered along with the plainer types. Most of the usual buyers were present and competing in a stronger market.
Yearling steers to processors lifted 10 to 15c to sell from 310 to 330c/kg. Middleweights to feed were back 4 to 10c to receive from 315 to 360c/kg. heavyweights lifted 5 to 7c/kg ranging from 300 to 361c/kg.
Heavy steers and bullocks jumped 15 to 20c to sell from 283 to 330c/kg. Grown heifers reached 270c/kg. Cows were 6 to 8c better with heavy 2 score from 215 to 238c and 3 score sold from 237 to 256c/kg.
