Numbers lifted this sale with agents yarding 32300 head. Lamb numbers lifted to offer 25250 head and quality was mixed but fair. There was an increased offering of heavy and export lambs available along with a handy penning of trade lambs. The usual buyers were present and competing in a stronger market that included a new centre record.

Plainer lambs to feed and restock sold from $239 to $294/head. Trade weight lambs 22-24kg received from $276 to $315/head. Heavy lambs to 26kg sold from $315 to $338/head. Extra heavyweight export lambs ranged in price from $328 to the new centre record of $480/head. Carcase prices averaged from 1074 to 1274c/kg. The best heavy hoggets reached $315/head.

There was 7000 mutton penned and prices continue to be buoyant with plenty of sales exceeding 900c/kg. Merino ewes sold from $188 to $340/head. Crossbred ewes received from $191 to $376/head with Dorpers ranging from $190 to $330/head.
