Numbers eased this sale with agents yarding 39400 head. Lamb numbers showed the biggest change with just 24500 penned. Quality was also reduced with a larger percentage of plainer secondary lambs on offer. There was only a limited offering of heavy and extra heavyweight lambs penned. the usual buyers were present and competing along with restockers in a market that fluctuated with quality.

There was 8300 new season lambs penned and prices lifted for the better types. Light lambs to restockers sold from $196 to $245/head. Trade weights received from $236 to $282/head with the few heavyweights reaching $298/head. Carcase prices averaged 1141c/kg.
Old lambs followed a similar trend with trade weights 20-24kg selling from $228 to $288/head. Heavies received from $295 to $315 with extra heavies from $310 to $336/head. Carcase prices averaged 1130c/kg.

There was 14900 mutton penned and quality was similar to previous sales. Prices lifted with Merino ewes selling from $165 to $273/head. Crossbreds ranged from $153 to $256 with Dorper ewes reaching $238/head. Merino wethers sold from $165 to $256/head.
