Numbers lifted this sale with agents yarding 34950 head. Lamb showed the increase with 28000 penned, quality continues to be very mixed with a handy offering of trade and heavyweight lambs penned along with a large percentage of store types. The usual buyers were present and competing along with restockers in a slightly easier market.

Store lambs again attracted strong competition to receive from $190 to $258/ head. Trade weight lambs were firm to $3 easier ranging in price from $254 to $305/head. Heavy lambs to 26kg eased $4 to sell from $300 to $328/head. Extra heavyweights held firm to range from $320 to $390/head. Carcase prices averaged 1025c to 1227c/kg. The best heavy hoggets reached $285/head.

There was 6900 mutton penned and quality was similar to the previous sale. Prices continue to be strong and quality driven with Merino ewes selling from $176 to $274/head. Crossbreds ranged from $180 to $337/head. Heavy Dorper ewes sold from $200 to $290/head.
