Numbers lifted this sale with agents yarding 1280 head. Quality was very mixed with some handy runs of well bred cattle offered along with the secondary types. The usual buyers were present and competing in a cheaper market.

Yearling steers slipped 10 to 20c/kg. Those to feed sold from 285 to 349c with the finished types to processors ranging from 278 to 320c/kg. The heifer portion followed a similar trend with numbers limited. Feeders paid from 245 to 293c with better types to processors selling from 230 to 290c/kg.

Heavy steers and bullocks were 20 to 25c easier to receive from 270 to 300c/kg. Grown heifers sold from 222 to 270c/kg. Cows dropped 30c with heavy 2 score from 190 to 214c and 3&4 score ranging from 208 to 226c/kg.
